Differing Views
While ADEQ strongly supports the application of sound scientific principles in developing public policy on climate change, we nevertheless acknowledge the existence of conflicting views that influence the current public discussion and policy-making efforts. In presenting a selection of Differing Views below, we do not attempt to capture the full range of views being expressed today or assign validity to any particular perspective. We leave to our able readers the responsibility of forming their own opinions on this important subject and making their voices heard in the public debate.
Costs and Benefits of Addressing Climate Change
Authors have written for years on the costs and benefits of taking action on climate change, both generally and with respect to specific program proposals, such as whether cap-and-trade is economically viable. We've assembled a selection of articles and reports that present a variety of views and findings about the costs and benefits of addressing climate change. It is by no means exhaustive or conclusive; in keeping with the theme of our Differing Views section, we leave it to you to frame your thoughts on this subject.
